New Feature: Introducing Waitlists

At SignUpGenius, we listen to your feedback and look for ways to make planning events even easier. In response to your requests, we’re introducing a new feature to help genius organizers maximize turnout for their events – waitlists! This game-changing tool is designed to streamline your sign ups and ensure that no one misses out on the opportunity to participate. 

Why you'll love the waitlist 

The last thing you need is another thing to juggle and it can be overwhelming to keep up with extra people who want to sign up but couldn’t snag a spot. Managing manual waitlists and additional sign ups to handle overflow are a thing of the past! Say goodbye to extra steps and welcome an automated system that ensures empty slots get filled. 

Waitlists can be used for many purposes, but you might find it most useful for: 

• Reserving spaces for practices, lessons, and activities 
• Sports teams 
• After school clubs 
• Nonprofit events 
• Personal fitness classes and registrations 

The waitlist feature can be added to individual slots in your sign up by clicking the checkbox while you’re in the Add/Edit slots menu. Waitlist slots have an unlimited quantity, so you never have to worry about capping the number of people who can join. Need to send an important message on location changes, essential items to bring, or directions? You can communicate with members of your waitlist just like any other participant. Choose to send messages specifically to “People who are on a waitlist” or to “People who have signed up and people who are on a waitlist.
