About the Role

SignUpGenius is hiring a Marketing Operations Lead to optimize marketing processes, tools, and data to drive efficiency and revenue growth. This position is ideal for a strategic, data-driven professional with expertise in B2C SaaS, marketing automation, and campaign analytics. Youll design workflows, manage analytics platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance lead generation and improve campaign performance. Responsibilities

Marketing Operations:

  • Manage and optimize the marketing technology stack, including tools like SendGrid, Google Tag Manager, GA4, BigQuery, Convert, PostHog, and OptinMonster.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and oversee platform updates or changes.

Email Campaign Management:

  • Build, test, and deploy marketing emails and automated workflows within SendGrid.
  • Ensure email campaigns align with brand guidelines, quality standards, and deliverability best practices.
  • Monitor and continuously improve email deliverability metrics.

Audience Segmentation and Personalization:

  • Create and maintain audience segments for targeted campaigns using customer data and behavioral insights.
  • Develop personalized email strategies to boost engagement and drive conversions.

Performance Tracking and Optimization:

  • Track email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates).
  • Analyze data to provide actionable insights for improving email content, design, and workflows.

Collaboration and Alignment:

  • Coordinate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure email strategies align with business objectives.
  • Work with the content team to develop engaging email copy and visuals that support campaign goals.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and external partners to manage sponsored newsletter campaigns.
  • Partner with the development team to resolve technical issues and enhance platform integrations.
  • Manage the relationship with our analytics vendor to ensure effective use of tools and insights.

Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure all email marketing activities comply with relevant regulations, such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices in email marketing to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years of progressive experience in B2C email marketing and marketing operations, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth environment.
  • Proven experience creating and managing email campaigns; familiarity with SendGrid is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Tag Manager and GA4.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience with marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email design is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results.
  • Positive and adaptable, with a “can-do” attitude.
